WOW in letters from The Beano.
The O is taken from the title in 1975, and the W is taken from a Howzat! strip in the summer special from 1986. The full set is pictured in separate frames and also in a single frame.
I love the shapes theses letters make. They look spectacular when framed and hung in a row.
These are all original screenprints. An original print is a work of art printed by hand, from a plate, block, stone, or stencil (which is the case here - screenprints are made using screen stencils) that has been created by the artist for the purpose of producing the image.
