This is a wonderful find - from the Golden Heart comics of the 1960s, The speech bubble is original; I've not added my own or changed it. To be honest, I don't really understand it and presented on its own, it's hillarious.
I love the hair cuts – he looks like Dirk Bogarde and she resembles Jackie O. The red stipple works well on his shirt … and the flat red by contrast accentuates her lips. The speech bubble, meanwhile, is extraordinary … but it is the original exchange, as printed in 1962.
These are all original screenprints. An original print is a work of art printed by hand, from a plate, block, stone, or stencil (which is the case here - screenprints are made using screen stencils) that has been created by the artist for the purpose of producing the image.
