Here's a large format print of the Bash Street Kids just after the black ink was applied. You can see the stencil on the screen behind the print. I've already flooded it with black ink in preparation for pulling the next print.

I've found another panel showing Dennis the Menace hugging his always faithful hound Gnasher ... and you can see here in the before-and-after how it appears in The Beano in the 1980s. I've not used the speech bubble, instead focussing on the central figures: a boy and his dog.
